Too many thoughts/ 7:31 PM Hey, okay so i've decided to do another post today coz i seriously have no idea when is the next time i'll be posting shitz on my blog due to the HECTIC,HECTIC schedule i've been given for the next week. Though i've not much time for my lonesome self, this thought has kept poking me(figuratively lah....dun be stoopid) ever since, hmm forever. I keep wondering if people really value their life. If it makes sense to commit suicide over some problem that maybe you are not or never will be in control of. What is it really that makes them kill themselves? or even just to HURT themselves? What is it really that pushes one THAT FAR to cause physical harm to oneself? I can't possibly ask them on a count that they ARE dead. So it really puzzles me. are their problems THAT bad till they have to "ESCAPE" (as one might call it) by killing themselves or is it just sheer ignorance of the value of being alive that they think its nothing and could just kill themselves. I sometimes wonder, since they've got balls to actually kill themselves, wouldnt they have the courage as well to face the problems that haunts them every waking hour? Or am i mistaken, that killing oneself doesnt require courage at all to actually take the final step in ending it all. Maybe its the other way round, by not having courage at all to face their problems, they run away from it till there's no where else to run and in the end the only thing they can do is kill themselves. But in my opinion, thats not really the case. For one to pull the trigger, for one to take that ONE step off the roof, for one to hold the razor and cut oneself i think that takes courage even though its used in a "bad/wrong" way, courage is still courage. Or maybe its just that sudden burst of courage to end it all. hmmm, interesting really if you think of it. I've had friends who confide in me and telling me all their problems and at the end of it all they say they rather die than live and face the problem. And for some weird reason i always get pissed off when someone says that to me, especially after i hear the reason WHY they want to kill themselves over. It pisses me off coz they think life is nothing and can just give it up in a snap just coz of something sooo sooo petty. If they think that their problems are worth killing themselves over, then i wouldn't know what they'll do if they are faced with much serious and bigger problems some of us face in life. Some people with worst off life find the means to survive, to ride it out coz they have a reason to live, to triumph and make a better life for themselves when the time comes. Thats one of the strong reasons why some of us put up with the shit life has thrown at us in hopes (more like determination) to make something better of our lives in the future. These people, i admire and These people, i respect. hmm even after the end of this post, i believe i'll still be haunted by these puzzling questions... Labels: random post 101 |
