Okay so everyone just got their JAE result! and yeah im quite happy with my result i guess...hahah though i'm pretty unsure of how its all going to be like. PC!!/ 11:49 PM HEH HEH HEH!!!! I want to dedicate this post to MY VERY OWN, PC!!!! WOOOOOHOOOO!!! Since he has been so very kind to post bout me, hahha i shall return the gesture! PC is one of the funnest adults i have ever met, seriously. He is fun-loving and a lil retarded as well...hahah but that's what makes him PC!!! So cheers, to PC!!!!! Happy CNY 2009!!/ 12:14 PM HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!!!! Gosh, CNY is a bugger, i woke up at 6 am in the friggin morning just to get ready and make sure our family was the first to reach my grandmums house on my dads side. My relative have this friendly competition, where the family that reaches the last would have to be the one to "OPEN TABLE" for the whole family. OPEN TABLE = Invite the WHOLE family to a restaurant and allow them to order whatever they wish to. And i should add that the bill usually goes up to a jaw dropping $700 to $1200. I know, CRAZY RIGHT.... And well, yeap, yet again, my family arrived at my grandmums house first!! OH the joy. So, eventhough its CNY, my grandmum cooked her famous and mouth watering and nose drippin ayam rendang. Nose Drippin is coz its FRIGGIN HOT!!! This year was a lil different, we had this "cup-bowing-kneeling-i-dunnoe-whatche-ma- call-it-ceremony-thingy" hahha, where we serve tea to anyone that is older that you. IT was soooo chaotic that it was laughable. hahha, everyone went ard at the same time and we see people doing all sorts of different bowing and stuff ESP my bro and me. hahahha we did it like we were on a fast forward tape. I pity the lil ones though they had to repeat the whole thingy over and over again!! THOUGH I DO NOT PITY MY BRATTY FEJRGJOETJGR CUZ, NAFISAH...BLARGH!!! D:< Okay after we did that, we lounged ard in the living room, catching up with each other. And seriously, it was a helluva catching up. You see, we dun really meet up with my relatives on my dads side. So whenever we meet up theres alot to talk about. My aunt bought this chanel, versace and kate spade bags on impulse and now she says she doesnt want it coz she thinks its too young and chic for her so she'll be givin them to me!!! NYE HEH HEH HEH!!! Okay as much as i want my ANG PAOS, i've yet to receive them. I'm still at my grandmums house btw, and YES she has internet! And yeah i know my grandmums awesome. hahaha I'm gonna take a nap now and hopefully i dream about landing on piles and piles of money!!! (i was gonna say awesome pairs of heels from all the branded names i ADORE, but on second thought....OUCH) So nights!!!! and when i wake up it'll be this much closer to ANG PAO RECEIVING TIME!! *holds thumb and umm, that other finger close together* hahaha! CNY!!! 2009/ 9:35 PM HEY!!!!! Okay, after quite a happening week, the excitement is not going to die down! Especially when CNY is here!!! One of my favourite holidays of the year! Some people may be thinking why the hell am i celebrating CNY right? Well, many do not know my heritage. I'm of mixed races which comprises of Javanese, Chinese and Japanese!Yeah yeah hard to believe. My dad is chinese and my Mum is mixed Javanese and Japanese. And so the governtment is confused as to my race so i'm labelled as OTHERS in my IC....NICEEE..... So, i consider myself lucky coz i get to celebrate, Chinese New Year, Hari Raya and also Christmas(some of my relatives from my dad side are christians). I'll be getting ang pow for CNY!!! yeah!!! So anyhow, I'm actually at my aunts house all the way in kovan and we are having a CNY dinner like is tradition and soon, we'll be tossing OUR AWESOME VERSION of the salad thingy. And i swear this year i'll be the hightes one to toss it!!! SABO MY UNCLE!! SABO!!!hahaha Anyways, yesterday, nad and i slept over at jennas house. She had this Coloured party AKA Anti-CNY party hahahha! well strictly no chinese allowed, thought there were 2 chinese attended the party well if you count me in then 2 1/3 chinese. hahaha! It was a really awesome party, it started slow but it picked up pretty fast. There, we met this Martin who kept dancing to songs by Beyonce, Rihanna and Britney Spears! and he actually memorised the dance moves! hahah, and he was totally cute and Gay may i add! soooooo adorable!! hahah Had sisha there too and unlucky me got charcoal on my foot and got my foot burned. It was a bad burn, second degree actually. However, I did not feel anything. And everyone was convinced i was that HIGH to not feel the burn or the sting when they ran cold water on my foot or when they put toothpaste on my foot. I wanna thank Jenna for "MANJA-ING" nme so she puts it. hahha and i want to thank NIRAAD (my lil purple friend) who helped provided the war scar in other words, he burnt me. He felt kinda bad (he better have felt bad..hahhaa) but well no harm was done, seriously, and i kept joking the whole time while i was fussed over. saying stuff like "at least its not my face! :D" or "wow, the burnt patch actually looks fairer than my skin, come on! burn me more!" hahaha After cleaning and disinfecting my SMOKING LEG, heh heh heh, we continued sisha-ing and i got all high and woozy! hahah but then sober up afterwards. hahha, We all ended up crashing at ard 5:30 am. GOSH!! now i', enjoying the company of my family and having fun cathing up with my distant uncle. He's an artist and works in UK. Awesome right! eventful week/ 9:30 PM HEY!!!! This week has been a very eventful week so far and i bet it will get even more exciting just before this week ends. On monday, me and the gang (nad, firza, akamal, siddiq, ilyas) went to tampines for a lunch gathering at seoul garden and well ate like we've never eaten before! After lunch which was 2 hours long we went roaming around tampines mall and then to sunplaza park where we spent 4 to 5 hours straight playing at the playground, hogging the swings, trying to kill ourselves on the flying fox thingy and cam whoring! And we ended the day by sitting down at Small Macs to just calm ourselves down with milkshake, coke, iced lemon tea and french fries! Tuesday was a slow happening day. Jenna and i met at the cathay for sushi and CHEAP sushi at that! i got loads of shit for about 10 bucks only. Anyhow, before reaching dhoby gaut, i took the train from eunos and there was this dude who kept looking at me curiously at first then kinda like just looking at me (I know...WTF right!?) so anyhow both of us dropped at dhoby gaut. I took the escalator and he suddenly appeared next to me (shock of my life....okay actually i was kinda expecting it...bloody bugger) well anyways here is how the conversation went Ugly unsuspecting dood : "uh, hie, can i get to know you?" Bitchy me : "I'm lesbian" *straight face* Ugly unsuspecting dood : *Shocked!* (need a moment to recover) "umm just as a friend?" Bitchy me : "No." *didnt even looked at him and just walked away* hahahha! classic situation man!!! anyways, after lunch we decided to go for the VS guys chalet and have fun and chillax. Well had some food and drinks and well everything became high and shit. hahhaa said loads of stoopid things and one of them being.... "HEY! Small things come in Great packages!!" (i swear i was high!) And kept trying to prove to people i wasnt "crazy" by saying "4+4=8" and "4x4=16" hahaha funny!! And today, well, went out as scandaleyezed (nad and jenna). Been soo long since we went out just us three...hahah so anyways, went to bugis, sat at a cafe thingy and just talked and talked...kinda nice actually. And well tomorrow i have an NPCC reunion outing thingy, dunnoe how thats gonna go and i'm gonna crash at jennas for CNY eve...hahah awesome!! cant wait!! Okay i better get going! nights! Shopping haven!/ 11:23 PM Hey people!!! Okay so since i'm definitely going to poly, i decided that i need more clothes!!! ahhaha so a buch of us, namely nad, firza and jenna went to bugis to do some retail therapy!! hahha and helluva retail therapy it was...hahah! I like to think that we are all smart shoppers and i spent about $120 ++ ($131 i think) on a bunch of stuff!! Okay so here are the list of things i bought! 1) 4 pairs of earrings - $5 2) a Striped boat neck long top - $24 3) paint splattred dress- $25 4) bumble bee dress/long top - $20 5) black high waisted skirt with studs - $22 6) pink floral high waisted skirt - $15 7) rose baby doll dress - $10 8) a turqoise top - $10 haha i'm waiting for nad to upload the pictures, so i can show you all that i bought!! hahah awesome awesome stuff! haha RETAIL THERAPY ROCKS!!!!! Not the end of the world :)/ 2:49 PM Hey people! Okay its, what? 2 days after the result day on Monday and honestly speaking, I WAS disappointed with my results and I'm going to admit that i did cry my eyes out until they became freaking puffy and shit...ahahha. But thank god, I'm over it. I guess I'm not really the type to dwell alot on what has happened. Can't really change anything even if i tried to kill myself right, so why waste time and make it all worst by dwelling? I cant say that i didn't see it coming... So, I've decided to forget about it and just focus on the future! 'O' levels is not the deciding factor of whether you're gonna succeed in life or not...so why put in much thought to it when whats done is done right? haha Now that i'm over it, I can finally say this genuinely, CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE FOR DOING WELL AND GETTING WHATEVER THEY AIMED FOR!!!!! To my awesome friends, Congratulations and I am soo proud of you guys!!! YOu guys have made it through 'o' levels and have came out of it with really really good and impressive grades! You guys really deserved it! And to those of you who are disappointed with your grades, chill, its not the end of the world...there's more opportunities in the future for you to prove yourself and do better, so dun waste your time weeping or dwelling or regretting on what has happened, you cannot change anything...So take it as sth that will make you work harder and be a stronger person! THE FUTURE IS WHAT COUNTS! So get that head of yours back on your shoulders and you will realize it's not THAT bad as you thought it is... Happy birthday ma!/ 3:14 PM Hey everyone!!! Okay, so, i've been attending some of the polys' open house...okay i went for only 2. But those are the only 2 polys that i'm actually genuinely interested in going. So to sum it all up, SP had some pretty cool and interesting courses, and i'm really interested in "HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND PSYCHOLOGY". SP poly is has a really really big campus and for that fact, i do not really like it that much. However, after going for 2 Redcamps, Redcamp 4 AND 5, haha, I have made loads of friends there and know some of the SLs there too. Seeing a familiar face in an unfamiliar place is most comforting. NP also offers "INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS" and "BUSINESS STUDIES" which i am also as equally interested in. All in all, NP really appeals to me and i would really really love to be a part of it. (Happy arr PC...hahaha) However, all is not confirmed yet. I guess i'll put in more thought to it once i receive my predictably horrible results,haha. Well, the soul purpose for this post is not to discuss bout this worrisome/tedious topic but to actually wish my mum "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" hahah, yes its her birthday today and i'm at wits end on how to please her or at least give her a birthday she'll enjoy. So, after much thought, i decided to make her a Breakfast In Bed!!! (well i made some for my dad as well, though not as grand as my mums bdae breakfast or esle he'll start rambling and complaining , haha) And a helluva breakfast it was! I woke up at 6 am in the freaking morning along with my brother of course..heheh, and started whippin up pancakes with whip cream and strawberries, orange juice, hot coffee/tea, special scrambled eggs (we added milk and cheese to it), fried strips of turkey bacon, waffles with maple syrup/chocolate fudge. Voila! SUPER MEGA BREAKFAST and all in bed! hahah My brother and i even wrote happy bdae mum on the pancake & waffle with the chocolate fudge. And giving my mum a day off, we started cleaning the house, washing dishes, hanging up clothes and my brother even washed the toilets (eeew i'm not doing that). I am seriously exhausted! But all to make my mum happy! hahha. Thank god my dad gave her this SPA gift. We'll be heading down to the SPA later on to get massages and all the girly stuuf girls do. hahaha, after that, i'm bring my family to my ultimate favourite restaurant when it comes to fushion food. AWESOME AWESOME FOOD!! And of course i'll be blanja-ing everyone. I've arranged for the chef to make a special dessert and to bring it out personally to her, which by when my brother and i would have presented our gifts to her...shhh its all a secret!! I cant wait for dinner, omg...i'm gonna cry tears of joy with every bite!!! hahaha, well i've gtg and get ready to go to the SPA!!! YAY :D Happy Birthday Mama!! Labels: happy birthday |

Welcome 2009 with a BANG!! (seriously)/ 5:34 PM As i was reading "The New Paper", i came across 3 disturbing articles. All of them concerning life and death. I'll quickly go through all the aritcles that really caught my attention. And maybe zoom in on one of them. Article 1 : Two singaporeans shot and one still remains in coma This took place in Denmark where one of them was celebrating his birthday. He has closed his restraurant for a private fuction which was his very own birthday party. This relative who had flew in from singapore was also there to celebrate this "Joyous" occasion. That was when the gun man shot them at point blank. Private investigators suspects that it has sth to do with "personal business" and are still on the look out for the shooter. Article 2 : A senseless attack on a grp of boys in Chinatown Well, the title says it all doesnt it? 4 boys decided to go to Chinatown admist all the CNY decorations to soak in the atmosphere and well maybe get some dinner. All are still in their teens. Before leaving, some group of chinese guys started shouting at them "What are you looking at?!" (isnt it typical...ugh, morons..) and charged at them with metal rods and beer bottles. The youngest out of the four managed to escaped but the rest was not as fortunate. One of them, Marcus was seen chased by two dudes with a metal rod. Once the attack was over, marcus was concious but only for a while before passing out. He suffered blood clots in his brain and injuries on his left leg and chin. The following day, he passed away. Article 3 : 2 year old toddler beaten to death and it could have been because of ciggarates. This young girl was described to be a very cheerful, bubbly girl and like any other kid, mischievious as well. She was playing with a pack of cigarattes and had broken all if not most of them into halves. A man (maybe her father, maybe not...oh you know the generation these days...) who had found out about the girls' activities started hitting and slapping her. And allegdly was seen steping on her as well (WTF?!?!) The girls was then rushed to the hospital by her oblivious mother who later found her unconcious with her nose bleeding after sweeping/mopping the kitchen (yeah...right...i'm not saying shes was aware or anything but hey, she WAS in the kitchen and its like what? 2 rooms away?maybe not, coz its a freaking 3 room flat. Don't tell me that she didnt hear the kid screaming in pain and get curious as to what was happening right. Oh no wait, dun tell me, the kid kept quite when a freaking fist the size prolly twice her head pummelled into her face! or when the hand slapped her across the face. GOSH...but hey well it's only my oppinion right...nth more...). Well anyways, you guessed it, she passed away, and it was believed that she passed away otw to the hospital. If her death was really caused by the breaking of cigarattes into halves, i only have two words to say to the fella. FUCK YOU!!!!!!! LIke WTF?!?! He beat a kid to DEATH just coz a freaking pack of cigarattes!? and these cost what? 10 to 12 freaking dollars? which apparently to him cost more than a life, an innoncent 2 year old's life! GOSH, what kind of animals is this world housing?! And i'm just speculating, this dude prolly is a mat. If cigaratte was the cause of this poor girls' death, then we should just ban smoking altogether. Stoopid people and their stoopid smoking. Stoopid piece of shit. I'm sorry to have just blown up like that but seriously, who in the hell whould not get mad or pissed off when you open up the newspaper and read of such inhumane acts and moreover, towards a lil girl who didnt know any better. REDCAMP 5!!!! sentosa trip!/ 12:10 AM hey!!! i just came back from my sentosa outing with some redcampers...hahaha it was surprisingly fun! hahah we had our own "outing" though...ahha spartans outing!! hahha. Played soccer at first, kinda sucked at it, but well i decided wtf and started chasing the soccer ball hahha, load good that did me, hahaha came back with a freaking big blue black on my shin...haha. But i did get to score at least a goal! WOOOHOOOO!! Then it came to swimming...haha, nad and i stood there comtemplating whether we should go in...considering both of us had missing parts of our garments...haha but temptation got the best of us and we went in the water anyways! hahha ended up drying off under the sun/in the wind. went for dinner after and talked crap that is really really stupid and funny hahha! cant really talk bout it...kinda private...all it had to do woth was SHIT, WET DREAMS and LOTSA BLOOD!!! hahhahahah!! played at time zone, the guys won cards games aka old maid (BOOOOOOO!!!) the card game i hate the most hahaa coz i keep being the freaking old maid...hahaha And the guys enjoy making fun of me...hahaha after that we went home....haha i'm actually kinda lazy documenting all this...i think nad would blog about it in with more details and pictures!!! hahahah like that huh...pictures...pshheessh! hahaha well, thats all i guess!! nights!! sooo tired! Welcome 2009 with a bang!/ 10:20 PM Happy New Year PEOPLE!!! It's the start of a new year, one which is full of new experiences, such as new friends, new school, new environment, new EVERYTHING!!! 2008 has definitely been an eventful year for those taking 'o' levels. Working our butts off to achieve whatever we aimed for. Suffering all the late night studying. Going crazy with info overload! hahha. but all the hardwork paid off! Well, here it is, the most awaited moment, a new year!! one which is promising. one filled with full of surprises and mysteries . And definitely one where all of us can party too!! Of course we might be separated from our secondary school friends, but it's an exciting adventure to set off on, where we will now be admitted into a different institute be it, JC, poly, ITE, Art school...where we will spend another 3/2 years in! Another phase of our lives which is waiting to be discovered. 2009 is a year full of the unknown. Lets embrace it and going through every obstacles or adventure head on without any regrets or hesitation! Lets be lose! speak our minds! If you like someone, tell it like it is!
