common test grades!/ 12:27 AM Awesome meera here!! hahaha Okay so common tests results are out! and well for some of us it might be an "EEERRRGGHHHH" moment but for others it might be a "yippeeeee!!" moment and i bet for most it'll be "Whatev" moment! hahaha Well, its been such a long long time since i actually put in effort studying for my modules. In secondary school, i was a major major slacker but i guess, new school, new friends, new year....i decided it was time to switch it up, instead of being happy with just passes, i want to earn my As. And i guess after this common test, it just proves that nothing is impossible! Yeah, you pretty much guessed it huh, my results are awesome! hahaha yeap yeap yeap! Straight As with majority of them being A+ for mostly all but one of my modules, so yeah hows that for great eh?? Sill couldnt believe that i could actually achieve that kinda grades but oh well, guess im just magical! hahaha (wth.....) My GPA, well thats not calculated yet tho, but things are looking up for me, for now 44% of the overall 100% have been tabulated and i fall between the range of 39%-44% for different modules. Really excited. However that means id have to sustain my As. what a bugger. Oh well...we'll see i guess. Oh and my lecturers nominated me to be a poster girl for my course which is Aerospace Technology....greeeaaaat....gosh poster girl, seriously?! hahahha we'll see again i guess...hahah see ya!! boooooor/ 10:43 PM Hey people! its been awhile hasnt it?? and yeah holidays are coming to an end and its time to start off the new term in the right way. but seeing that most of my projects are either not completed or we havent even started on it, i guess starting the new term would be hectic with all of us trying to finish off our projects. Anywhooo, my mum woke me up this morning with a msg saying "ur school extending one week of hols" and seeing that, i did my happy dance on my bed, feeling soo relieved and happy that i get to enjoy one more week of nothing-ness...haha but then it all came crashing down coz in actual fact it wasnt my shcool that was getting their hols extended, but it was nanyang poly! haaaiz, and worse! i did my happy dance for nothing!!! what a waste of time, effort and energy...booooooooooo hahah so anyways! on a lighter note, MJ DIED!!! WOOOHOOO!! End Of CT!/ 5:23 PM AAAAAAAAAAHHH!!! Today was my last day of common test!! weeee! and two weeks of holiday!!! but for me i guess, not much relaxing due to the tons of projects that are waiting to be completed by the end of my hols...but anyways im still glad i at least have some time to relax and de-stress... First thing on the agenda is SISHA!!!!! hell yeah, ive been desperately needing sisha for a long while. Thanks to all the studying and cramming i've done, my poor ol' brain and i deserve to relax and cause harm to our health! woohoooo! Sisha!! coz i am Meera's uncomplaining lungs man! Wonder what i'll be doing during the holidays...hmmmm anyhooo, i shall go and sleep now coz im freaking tired....blame them ministry and the need for everyone to GET AN EDUCATION!!! pfft... Stressed out?????????/ 10:18 AM With The common test approaching (a week away actually) i'm pretty stressed out. Eventhough i have 3 examinable modules, they are FUCKED UP MODULES!! hahah well, Engineering maths is pretty okay mostly revision of what i did in secondary school, Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy! However, Thermofluid and Engineering materials are crazy as hell modules! Thermofluid is managable but with my memory, i'll prolly forget all the formula and equations in panick man...Engineering material, hahah! the lecturer sucks! and i have to just learn the whole module by myself coz thats how badly the lecturer sucks, dunnoe what the hell he's talking about! Okay, so other than these modules for common test, i have 2 tests this coming week! FUCK MAN! Thermofluid which i have to get 75% according to my ever so pretty lecturer. If i do not manage to achieve 75%, i'll just have to re-take and re-take the test till i get 75% and above. Freak. And my other test is AMMP, Aircraft Manufacturing and sth sth (hahah i seriously do not know what the sth sth is) And the test carries a heavy weightage of 20%. Haiyoh....Im freaking stressed out lah. ON TOP OF THIS WONDERFUL PILE OF FUCKING TESTS AND COMMON TESTS, I HAVE 3 PROJECTS DUE BY THE END OF MY JUNE BREAK. FREAKING BRILLIANT man...freaking brilliant... Oh and my mum expects all As for all my module...FUCK THE WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not freaking supergirl man...fuck this. On a lighter note! I went shopping yesterday! Thought i deserved a break and a reward for not going mental by now....Got 2 really really really awesome cute dresses! friday bliss with LG/ 1:35 PM Hey ho! Im currently in school (ugh) at OurSpace slacking around! *mumbles* Stoopid school and its stoopid 4 hr long breaks...fuck lah...pfft And yeah...4 hours break on fridays, hate how they cant just push up the class and shit, yah lah, yah lah i understand the lecturers schedule may clash and shit like that but oh well, what to do... So anyhow! today is Sisha session part 2!!! yay i cant wait, the previous time i didnt really get high, pfft....but today is a must! Oh and todays practical was pretty awesomely cool-yo! haha, umm, how to describe it, its metal grinding...and yeah the name suggest it all...we grind metal...(heh heh heh...ssshhh its not what it sounds like) it was soo cool!! there were like sparks and shit..hahah (okay okay..i know i sound nerdy..pfft....i know lah you guys not interested, but guess what? guess what?! THIS IS MY FUCKING BLOG, SO NOT HAPPY, GO FUCK OFF!! nyahaha....oh well too bad, soo sad...) And i'm brilliant! i manage to get excellent finish, and once again you might not know what that means but nah, too lazy to explain. IS, Auction, Tora Payoh!/ 10:09 PM Today was an extra fun day! I always look forward to thursdays coz of my IS module. IS stands for Inter-disciplinary studies. And This sem, i got Communication Toolkit! This module basically teaches us the how to do presentation, communicating well with others and some cultural thingy (dun ask me why bout the last one, i'll have to say "coz singapore is a multi-ethnic society!" pfft!) And knowing me, i love to talk, love to communicate and voice out my opinions and just be vocal i guess! So the topic i got was Stereotyping, surprise, surprise...hahha and well, i didnt really need to list down alot for me to get started on the topic. Didnt have time to talk about all that i wanted though but its okay! I got a 4.5/5 sooo its not that band man!! pretty awesome! After, we headed to the atrium and there was some auction thingy going on and i managed to get a laptop case, i cant remember what brand...i think it cost ard 25 bucks in normal merchandise stores but i got it for only 2 bucks! hahaha the dood pitied me enuf not to prolonged the auction till he got someone who would raise up the price, hahah. Anyways, after that, met ram at makan place (I MADE HIM WAIT FOR ME FOR NEARLY AN HOUR AND A HALF!) nyahahhaa! okay so i met him at makan place along with paul (yeah the twohill) as well as some other indian friend of pauls. After that, ram and i made our way to toa payoh coz i had to exchange some things for my macbook. Fun part coming up! I saw a pasar malam near the central and dragged rams ass there with me! hahah, ended up playing one of those pasar malam games where theres 5 cans and you are suppose to knock them off the table thingy to win the prize. Guess who won?? HAHA MUA!!! RAM YOU SUCK!!! hahah i got some pick-up-sticks thingy and ram only got a bookmark...NYAHAHAHHA!!! saddd! Dinner at mos burger and yeah, the place where ram apologized and fucking squirm like a worm for forgiveness (dun deny it lah ram...) and wow what an awesome moment it was....bloody priceless man....should go down in the book of records since we are talking bout ram the bloody as hell egoistic bugger. Ngee Ann Poly Student HERE!/ 10:58 PM  Before you say it or ask, the answer is yes, i'm taking korean as my third language. Since i'm sooo in love with korean fav k-pop/hip-hop BIG BANG! and also love watching certain korean dramas, learning and pronouncing korean is not as difficult as i though. After my first BASIC lesson, i could read and write the basic korean characters. I could even understand some words. Woohooo! Okay enough about my enrichment module, other than that, as you may or may not know, i'm in Aerospace Technology. I was kinda dreading it coz i thought it'll be another physics class only more in depth but im surprised that its not like that at all, i mean of course theres some physics applied and stuff in Thermofluids but it was pretty okay...wasnt that bad... And the other modules such as engineering maths, i've learnt in secondary school so it comes naturally to me. Mechanics, airspace manufacturing and a few other modules are pretty interesting (surprisingly). And in addition, my class is starting to warm up to each other so hopefully it wont be long till we break the ice! hahah. hmmm all in all, poly is sooo sooo different than econdary school and i bet JC as well. In poly, you have to constantly check ur Mel (sth like student mail) for announcements and updates. The lecture might just post out announcement saying he cant make it for the lesson on Mel instead of telling to our class face to face. So i guess its pretty important for us to check our Mel everyday (haiz....) Poly is pretty scary in a sense if ure not the independent type and rely on teachers and friends. As for me, i pretty much like the teaching plan and learning structure of poly life. Soo much more, REAL if i may say so... Lecturers are awesome! some are pretty dull but cute none the least (cute as in, those old geezers with cute flabby cheeks and blur eyes, hahha). In poly another major difference is that, you can do whatever you want. Sms, call, sleep in class you name it man. On the first day of school and my first lesson, my lecturer mrs wong, she was like "if you want to sleep, go ahead, i know you guys are tired but after the lesson just come to me so you can borrow my transparency" I mean like WTH right! hmmm all in all poly life is awesome, not what i expected it to be but still awesome. ECP BABIES outing/ 10:58 PM Hey Peeps!! I've just finished watching this movie called "Harold and Kumar : Escape From Guantanamo Bay" and i have to say that it's a preeeeetty interesting movie though its really retarded at the same time! Why i watched it? I decided my body and brain are too tired for me to watch something serious or mind boggling and shit like that. MY ASS HURTS!!!! hahaha and why the hell am i telling you that?! oh well, to clear it all up (coz i know what some of you are thinking...SHUT UP!!!) Today was my Freshman Group Outing at ECP. It was an ooookay day i guess, pretty boring and tiring but at least i got to know those people there much much better!   It poured like FUCK there and we were caught in it. So deciding to not let the rain ruin our plans, we locked our bags away in the provided lockers and cycled in the rain watching everyone else huddled in the shelter starring at us like we were a bunch of loons. By the end of the day, our legs were aching and our butts sore, we made our way to the makan place thingy and ordered just some seafood and individual dishes. And thats where i met MR. Mohawk...first thing i noticed when i walked in was the tall standing hair whose owner was sitting comfortably at one of the tables with some of his friends. haha. Awesome hair man.... Anywhoo, while i walked around to check out what food there is, he suddenly came up behind me and kinda scared the living shit out of me....wth lah....sooo yeah...the story continues from there.... INDUCTION!/ 10:08 PM OKAY INDUCTION!!! All the students from the Mechanical Engineering Division were there at 9am in the air conditioned Lecture hall. All not knowing who's the dood or doodette( rare case btw) sitting next to them. It was a pretty great day for me at least, ahhah i made loads of fun, Lawyer Burok people there, some from my course and some from another. There were some activities and buffet all. I have to adit the Buffet SUCKS ASS but the company more then made up for it! hahha At the end of the day, saying goodbye to them was kinda sad but i did go homw with some new found friends who might very well be my classmates!! hahaha now i cant wait for POLY!! haha Labels: Aerospace Tech, ngee ann poly |

FOC/ 2:00 PM ANUBIS OI!! SAH(sth like that lah..haha) !!!! ANUBIS OIII!!! HZZ-SAH! (again, sth like that...)!!! ANUBIS OOOIII!!! WE ARE THE BEST AND WE KILL THE REST!!! *alternate version* WE ARE THE BEST AND WE TRASH THEIR ASS!!! It's been 2 days since the end of NPSU FOZ 09/10 Camp and for the most part of it, it was awesome, meeting new people from different courses and schools. However, not all part of the camp were fun coz we had to wait around ALOT...and i meant ALOT! Anyhooo, I shall get into details of events worth mentioning instead of listing it all out all of it like some stoopid ass..hahah Day 1 EVENT #1 Upon reaching the venue (we were an hour late by the way...ooopsie! haha) we were lead to The sports complex where we were separated into different groups and then sub-groups. Nad was poested to HORUS aka God of The Sky and I was posted to ANUBIS aka The God of Death (really love my group name btw...wahahah) So after, we played the "Cinderella" Game We had to blindfold ourselves and the GLs would randomly pair us up with the opposite gender and of course there were some unlucky souls who got paired up with the same gender. hahha. Anyhooo, i was paired up with this dude named Jivevin and from the get-go we talked and talked like we knew each other since forever, haha, even the GLs asked whether we knew each other before hand. The Meanie GLs called us the worst pair they ever came across coz we were tooo talkative, hahha WTF. So then they suddenly made my partner lie down on the ground and took a chair and placed it so that he's inbetween the legs of the chair and made me sit on top of the chair, but little did i know they were taking pictures of it...WTH lah... Our partners then became our MASS DANCE PARTNERS!! Event #2 MASS DANCE!!! wahahhah FUN FUN FUN!!! The steps were extremely EASY and Jive and I kept making our own steps to make it cooler ahhaha, Jive is a hip-hop dancer (i think) and i'm just awesome! hahahha Event #3 COMING SOON WAS DA BOMB!!! HAHAHHA!!! people kept screaming...gosh...wth....just a movie...and all throughout the movie i kept telling my friends how CIOBU the "GHOST" is....SOOO BODOH LAh!! hahah and apparently the stoopid sound system kept cocking up so i decided to entertain my friends by making my own dialog, hahhah funny sia... Event # 4 NIGHT WALK!!!! wahahha, it was the lamest thing ever ever ever....well my male partner is lame lah...Made me walk infront and he follows from way way way back. And when The GLs ask why, i shouted across the block to tell them he was a coward! hahah, night walk, nothing much i guess...saw STUFF as usual...not shocking anymore...booohooo :( BUT BUT!! the EXCITING THING IS!!! BLK 50 is the MOST MOST MOST Haunted block in NGee ANn, and guess what? Its my block! WAHAHAH END OF DAY 1 Day 2 Event #1 We had games!! and the stations were fun! Station 1 : was sOOO GROSS!! there was this pail filled to the brim with squid, bbq sauce, oyster sauce and tomato sauce and shit like that, the smell was horrible!! and we had to submerge our hand into the pail to find a marble in 30 secs, i wasnt disgusted by putting my hand in there but the smell was awful and i wanted to puke after that..hahah Station 2 : MUD SLIDE!!! hahah, this was extremely fun! there was this huge sheet of plastic laid on the hill and they splashed soap, water to make it slippery and at the end of the whole slide was a pool of mud! hahha and as usual, i was the first girl to go and did a body surf! hahh awesome stuff man! other stations were okay i guess...hahah End Of Day 2 Day 3 Event #1 Water games!!!! infiltrate the base games, it was extremely fun though i manage to stay dry for most part of the game,i got nad with a water bomb!! WHEEEEEEEE!!! hahahha it was funny!!! Event #2 Campfire!!! it was okay i guess i only paid attention to my group skit hahah, oopsie!! Event #3 HOPNITE!!! hahah OMFG affin awesome time! steph, nad and i started opening up circles which somehow get broken by peopl who dont know what the hell a cirle is for in the first place! hahah well, all in all it was a freaking awesome night! After HOPNITE which ended like at 3 am, we had OWN TIME OWN TARGET! and we are to sleep at our own risk! hahha those who slept got their legs, arms vandalised and faces smeared toothpaste...sad sad man...bored souls man...hahhaa anyways i slept anyways but nth happened to me coz nad was there to protect me!! WHEEEE I LOVE YOU NAD!!! End Of Day 3 Day 4(last day) Going home time!! it was really sad, loads of our GLS cried and we had this emo sing along session as well as picture taking session, both took a hell lot of a time...and in the end the camp ended...was kinda a biuttersweet moment...I'll definitely miss all my GLs as well as the many many friends i made at the camp and i was also thankful it was over coz that means MY OWN COMFY BED TO SLEEP ON AGAIN!!!! WHEEEE!! hahahha, anyhooooooooo, just wanna give a shout out to BABIES GLS, Doreen, David and las tbut not least MANNAN!!!!! Past and Present/ 10:04 AM Hey People! What do you think of MY New Blogskin? I decided to give my blog a lil sprucing up since its been awhile and also coz i'm bored to DEATH at home right now... Anywho, I admit it's very simple but i guess taste change as time passes and besides, i was feeling simply-ish. HAHA! Wasnt in the mood for anything extravagant or IN-YOUR-FACE colourful! As i've said before previously, how my blogskin turns out is soley due to my mood when i was doing up my blogskin. Its kinda unpredictable, how my blog is gonna turn up. :P So anyhow, other than just sprucing up my blogskin just for the sake of having something to do, I also thought that maybe its a kinda symbolic gesture of change and how many of them i'll be experiencing soon. I don't expect poly life to be anywhere similar to Secondary school life, nor do i expect to meet similar people as well. In the weeks to come, i'll be experiencing constant change and as much as i don't want it, i DO want it as well. No more the life of uniforms, of having my exclusive cliques(I still MISS YOU GUYS ALOT!) but hello to everything new and scary, haha. I'm sure in time, i'll get used to the changes but time cannot cure the ache of missing all my best friends who I've bonded with and who have accepted me in the four years I was in TK. I'm certain we wont lose each other but not seeing each other as often as we used to will definitely make each one of us miss each other more and more. Friends like them only come once in a lifetime and I don't wish to let them go that easily (hahaha, i sound like a PSYCHO CLINGY FRIEND....*shivers*) So cheers to my new life, new friends and most importantly new beginnings. And ALSO cheers to my best friends, the time we had together and to the the past. Without a past, there wont be a present.
